Please Welcome Terry Lyle!
Terry presently paints her travels in oils. She has loved the process of being an artist since she received her first paint set at 12 years old. She took art classes in high school and college prior to life getting in the way of art - she received a Masters in Education and taught school. She also received her Certified Financial Planning Degree - working in banks and credit unions as a CFP. Eventually she joined her husband in their business working with resorts and traveling to beautiful places which allowed her to rekindle her love of art.

Over the years, Terry has taken classes in drawing, ceramics, and painting from Orange Coast College to Central Oregon College to The Art Institute of Southern California. She is so lucky to travel to Europe and see the very best of the work she admires. Terry loves to paint images that capture the moment; the light of a sunset at the beach, a waiter anticipating the day at The Ristorante in Orvieto, a bicycle left while the owner shops at DE MICCOLI,

You can feel the clothes blowing in a breeze in an ancient Italian village,
the light on the bell tower at the Mission San Juan Capistrano,
waves washing ashore in Dana Point, or the faces of her beautiful nieces and nephew.
Terry is thankful for the opportunity to paint with artist's studio artists and to paint plein air in the beautiful locations of South Orange County. There is no end to the beauty in this world to capture on canvas!
