Please welcome, Lieschen Arnell Rypel! A native born Californian who grew up - right here in Laguna Beach - the famous art colony in Southern California. She graduated from Laguna Beach High School in 1966 following in the footsteps of her mother who also graduated from LBHS twenty years earlier. She was influenced as a child and nurtured into the art world and appreciated the surrounding great artists and galleries on a day to day basis. She loved spending summer vacations going to the Sawdust Festival and other Art Festivals which opened the door to express her love of painting the sea in oils. Now as a late bloomer ... she is not wasting any time! The creative ideas are just pouring out of her everyday with great enthusiasm and joy. Lieschen has now lived in Dana Point for 20 years and feels blessed to live here in paradise. We are so happy to have Lieschen join the local artists of the South Orange County Coast.
