I met Jackie while painting at Amanda Cameron's Art Studio Workshop where she was painting a portrait of her daughter .... it was with such pleasure to watch her paint her subject in details and using the Renoir style of impressionism in the background and see the painting come alive! Please Welcome, Jackie Nova
Jackie grew up and was educated in Paris, France and studied in both London and Paris during her academic years. She traveled extensively throughout Europe, South Africa and is now living here on the South Orange County Coast, USA. "I have been fortunate to attend to and abserve many art exibitions and museums worldwide that influenced my personal works of art and I am particularly drawn to the works of Picasso, Renoir, Monet and Van-Gough." She celebrates her French culture in her paintings and brings that delightful vitality and colorful portrayal of French life to the canvas ..... bringing wonderful pleasure to the eyes. She paints in oils and acrylics and loves to paint and reflect emotions of people and the oceans in an open air environment and simply just "loves" painting outside in the sunshine.
