Our Pacific Ocean has inspired our visiting and local plein air artists to paint environmental landscapes and seascapes. Their fine art work show the interesting colors and land formations that are created by ocean wave action and show first impressions of our changing environment along the South Orange County Coast by walking and painting the land... a document of our beautiful natural planet, Earth. OceanviewGallery Artists provide Ocean and Habitat Awareness education and research and conduct art education instruction to spread the word about protecting our Oceans.

OCEAN AND HABITAT AWARENESS
Oceans cover about 70% of our Planet and is home to marine mammals, sea turtles and other Ocean Life
and a source of protein and recreation for billions of people.
The Blue Whale is on the endangered species list and
dolphins, harbor seals and many surface sealife are
dying off due to ocean pollution, overfishing and various environmental factors.
HELP PROMOTE HEALTHY OCEANS AND HEALTHY FISHING FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS

Painting in Plein Air is a unique experience that places the Artist in a changing open air environment bringing about spontaneous opportunities to closely observe nature in its every changing environmental condition...the illusion of light is continuously changing, the sun is moving from day to night, the wind is at your back or in your face, and of course... the ever changing subjects including our ocean. So, to reap the rewards of this unique experience - just do it - jump in and bring your paint brushes, watercolor pencils or pastel crayons and then with a sense from your soul - just paint what you see, hear and feel. Join our group of Plein Air Artists for a Green Environment(AGE) from the South Orange County Coast (SOCC)and have a fun day of painting.
