Children's Creative Art Gallery Show Boys and Girls Club of the South Coast San Clemente, CA
Experience It! During the summer of 2008 about 25 emerging artists from our community did an outstanding job of painting 53 creative art pieces that give the feeling of an under the sea aquarium that captures Ocean and Habitat Awareness. The Gallery of Paintings were on display at our local Boys and Girls Club in San Clemente during the last two weeks of August 2008. Approx. 200 children and parents turned up to vote for their favorite painting. Based on the enthusiasm and success of this event, we are continuing the program.
CONGRATULATIONS to the Summer 2008 winners: 1st Place - Bailey Donlin, 9 yrs; 2nd Place - Amanda Leyfield, 9 yrs; 3rd Place - Elba Martinez, 10 yrs; and, 4th place Brisamar Ramos, 8 yrs old.

Beach Cities artists have volunteered to donate their time and instruction throughout the year to continue the program. If you can spare $3 to help a child experience this art workshop, the Boys and Girls Club can continue to introduce children into the fun world of the arts ... the gift of creativity and expression is priceless.
