I met Howard while strolling down the Los Rios District
during a Plein Air Painting day when his painting "caught my eye."
He loves to paint vintage cars and the Los Rios District is about as
Vintage an area around, some houses are over 200 years old.
Some of Howard's new paintings can be found at "the Nest",
a historical house turned Gift Shop at 31711 Los Rios Street,
where you can find beautiful unique gifts and decorative
treasures for your home.

Howard began painting at the age of 10 and
took private lessons in oil, charcoal drawings and watercolor.
He graduated from Fine Art Schools in Westport, Connecticut in 1962
and continued drawing and painting and earned a graphics design certificate.
Opened his own studio and has won various awards including
Traditional Art Show Paramount, CA and has published cartoons for Artist Magazine and
a book, titled "Something Funny Under the Sun."
